The Cavanaugh Flight Museum is devoted to promoting aviation studies and to perpetuating America's aviation heritage. By restoring, operating, maintaining and displaying historically-significant, vintage aircraft, and collecting materials related to the history of aviation, the museum fulfills its mission and allows visitors to experience it all. The museum opened in October 1993 with the collection of historic aircraft that belonged to the founder, Jim Cavanaugh.
